July!

What is in your car? This picture is very telling of my life right now.  I looked over when I got into the car the other day and had to take a picture of the items that happened to be there:  Bread to feed the ducks at the park, A toy for Adeline, extra pants for Rosalyn in case of a potty accident, Brielle's picture she drew in primary, and of course fairy wings.  You never leave home without fairy wings!

We had a fun July - a month filled with perfect weather and lots of outdoor activities.  We did a lot of big, fun things this month, as well as just staying home and playing in our backyard, having friends over, and enjoying the sunshine.

One day we went to Rattlesnake Lake and enjoyed a perfect afternoon with family.
My mom loves to cuddle sweet Blakely!

The girls went straight for the water.  They were in heaven.

You know you've had a great time when the kids fall asleep before you've pulled out of the parking lot! ha ha.

Our apple trees in our back yard produced a million apples.  I was making daily runs to the apple tree and daily batches of apple pie bars to store in the freezer.  Cause what else do you do with a million apples? Oh, and I dried a bunch too.  Mmm..that makes the house smell nice!

July 4th was fun! A little stressful this year getting to a parade with three kiddos.  We went to Kirkland to see that parade there.  It was a new place.  The parade was fun...loud and exciting.  But they didn't have any marching bands! How can you have a parade without that???
I told Jeff that I'm done watching parades.  I want to be in one again! Having had the experience of being in parades growing up and in college....it's time to stop being on the sidelines. Ha ha.

We went to a park later that evening and enjoyed the community 4th of July feeling.  I sure love that holiday!
Adeline ate her first food! She got applesauce.  And loves it!

The girls climbed whales at the splash park.  Splash parks are such great inventions for hot days and little kids.

Mike came up for an afternoon to visit! We wanted to see him before he left for BYU.  We had a fun time with him! The girls adore their uncle Mike.

Marie & Jeff went on an Alaskan Cruise...and we got to see them before and after! We rented this surrey bike together before they got on their ship.  We had such a great time and so many laughs with them while they were here!

And speaking of bikes, we are proud owners of bikes for Brielle & Rosalyn! They are obsessed with bike riding now.  Eat, bike, sleep.  That's what they do all day.  And I love it.
