October

My Mom made these cute candy corn hats for the girls which we got at the beginning of October. Perfect start to the month! :) 

Both girls had their yearly checkups at the doctor.  Both girls are healthy, and we are SO grateful! 

Brielle brought her little doctor's kit to her checkup.  She wanted to help the doctor take her blood pressure and give her a "shot." ha ha. 

We had some fun Halloween decorations over here! My favorite was the googly eyes I put on some trees in our front yard.  When we moved into this house, I thought we had some spooky trees...and couldn't wait to put faces on them for Halloween.  Ha! It's the little things that make life great. :) 

Jeff and his team did really great at work - they had a competition, his team won, and they got a FANCY steak dinner out to John Howie Steakhouse! Here he is with his co-workers: 

We have been having lots of fun with Music Time at our house each week.  We have almost too many people that come! It is fun for the kids, and fun for the moms to get together and talk.  Here's a picture of some of the kids at the Music Time before Halloween...lots of spooky music to sing! 

I got to see my Grandpa Bates one night! He came up and we enjoyed talking with him.  He was so lively and happy...a joy to be around.  I hope I'm as fun as he is when I'm in my 90's!
