Jeff's Mom, Lori married Kevin Saunders on October 9th! We were so excited to celebrate their union and be together with family. It was a whirlwind wedding weekend and I'm so glad I got some great pictures to document the events! Hurray for the happy couple!!

We woke up at 3:30am. We were so tired all day! Early flight to Salt Lake City, the girls were wild and didn't want to stay buckled in their seats. But overall, they were quiet...they just needed lots of in-flight entertainment. :)
We went to Lori's house and had a 2 hour planning session for all the weekend events. It was fun to catch up with all the details and Jeff had fun delegating as he was taking notes. Ha!
We enjoyed spending time with family and seeing everyone again. We had pizza at Ligori's and then finished wedding preparations before going to bed! Jeff met Kevin for the first time that evening, and we were so excited for the happy couple and their big weekend. Luckily, Jeff approved of Kevin. Ha!
Friday, October 9th - Wedding Day!
It was a beautiful day for a wedding!
We dropped the girls off at Lori's house where Jason & Lori watched them so we could attend the sealing at the Ogden Temple. It was so neat to attend the new temple since it has been remodeled. It was gorgeous inside and out!
They were married and so happy! Lori was just glowing.
We rushed back to the house to pick up the girls and take pictures outside the temple.
We chased our little toddlers all over the temple grounds while we waited for the newlyweds to come out. I wasn't much help in heels. They were hyper, sleep-deprived and all over the place! Luckily, they never fell in the fountain like I thought they might. :)
Cousin Keaton was a constant entertainment to these two:
Family picture time!
And then they came out!
Brielle and Rosalyn were so excited and were quick to run and hug:
All the cousins together!
We got some group pictures and then headed over to a luncheon. Jeff was the MC, along with his brother Jason:
They ate and played games and had a nice luncheon with close family and friends!
And then it was time to clean up and prepare for the reception. The church was decorated so beautifully.
Cute cake!
Thank goodness for the nursery room filled with toys. We spent a lot of time in that room. :)
Brielle spent her time filling cups with punch. Every time I turned around, she was filling another cup.
I kept track of (chased) the girls around so that Jeff could mingle with his cousins. It was great to see everyone!
And then it was time to cut the cake! Tradition!

The newlyweds stayed till the bitter end...they had so much fun catching up with everyone that came and didn't want to leave! We finally sent them off in style...

It was a perfect wedding day!
Saturday, October 10th
We had another big event to celebrate...Tyler's baptism! We were lucky to be there to witness it. Afterwards, we all went to a park and had a yummy lunch.
Freshly baptized! The newest member of the church:
We were all tired after that and went home for a little down time. Then we met up at El Matador's for dinner with Jason's family. Then back to Lori's where we had a bonfire --roasted smores and starbursts! We played Red Rover with everyone and had a really fun night together. The wedding was the highlight of the weekend, but this night was my favorite night of the trip. It was so fun laughing, playing and relaxing together!
We had fun this weekend watching the littlest cousins run around together. They were hilarious!
I think this is my favorite picture of them:
Sunday, October 11th
We packed up our things and cleaned our rental home. Lots of cleaning to do after a whirlwind trip!
We met up with the Tolsma side of the family at a pretty park. It was a gorgeous, sunny day to be together outside.
We had fun catching up with this side of the family and enjoying their company.
Here we are with Grandma Tolsma! We sure love her.
And here's the whole crowd!
After a few hours it was time to head back and say goodbye to the newlyweds. We didn't have much time before rushing to the airport. We said our goodbyes and headed back!
We flew home and the girls had just as much fun on the plane as they did on the way there. :) Late night getting home...we were happy to finally get to our beds by the end of the day!
It was a great weekend spent with loved ones. Wonderful memories and we are so happy for the new married couple!
