Easter Weekend

We had a lovely Easter weekend. It is one of my favorite times of the year.
We started it off with our annual Passover Dinner. And by annual, I mean we did it last year too. :) But it was fun again this year! We ate on the floor and talked about Jesus.

After dinner, we made Easter Tomb Rolls. I saw it on Pinterest of course. The marshmallow represents Jesus. He died and was wrapped and covered in oils. We dipped the marshmallow in butter and cinnamon sugar. Then we put it in the crescent roll that represents the tomb.  You bake them and when you open it up the marshmallow disappears - Jesus was resurrected! This was really fun and a yummy way to talk about the resurrection. :)

On Saturday we stayed home and watched General Conference from the comfort of our couch. We enjoyed the beautiful spring weather in between sessions.

On Sunday we drove down to Olympia to watch the rest of conference and celebrate Easter with family. Everyone was there, we were only missing Mike on his mission! Marie & Jeff are here for a few weeks and it was fun to have everyone under the same roof again.

We had an afternoon egg hunt.  I got some cute pictures of the girls....

Waiting to begin:

And...go!

This one is my favorite of Brielle: She is always so expressive!

Rosalyn is on a mission to find the most eggs:

Rosalyn is wearing the same dress that Claire wore at her age. Fun to see! I remember playing with Claire at this age.

And after getting all the eggs, it was time to play:

And see the real Easter Bunny himself:

Jeff took the girls on a walk. I think these pictures are precious of the three of them:

We enjoyed conference and fun family times. We finished the day with an Easter dinner...complete with Easter Lillies and Easter Ham! :)
