Spring was good to our backyard. There were lots of blooms and our apple tree had pretty white blossoms on it for a week. I wanted some updated family pictures to hang up in our new place, so I spontaneously decided the day before to take pictures in our back yard before the tree changed!
I grabbed clothes we already owned, and ran to the store to get Rosalyn something new...all she wears is hand-me-downs and I wanted her to have something of her own for this one! ha.
I put the girls in curlers:
Jeff came home from work, we changed and ran outside while the light was great. I set up a tripod and we took a million pictures to try to capture a few with both girls looking at the camera. :) I didn't get the settings right for each shot and that's too bad...it was hard being a photographer and wrangling toddlers. ha! But I'm happy with them.
Here are the results, and if you were in my home you'd see a few of these on the walls!
And here are a couple out-takes. I love the expressions of the girls on his lap:
I'm flying away in this one! Our jumping wasn't timed quite right:
And this one is all sorts of wrong, but I love Jeff's face:
Well, we've got some family pictures now! They will only be updated for a few months, the girls change so fast! ha! But I love them.
