March marched...

Where did March go? I feel like it flew by.

Here are some things that happened in March:

Rosalyn sits up on her own! She's pretty good, I still keep pillows around her for the occasional topple. She's much more aware of the action going on and wants to be a part of things now.

Marie flew to WA to spend a few days here before getting married.  It was so fun to have her and her bubbly self here! She was so blissfully happy and excited for her wedding.  So calm, no cold feet at all.  It was wonderful to see her so happy and excited to marry the man of her dreams.

We threw her a bridal shower. It was so fun! We had a "diamonds and pearls" theme, which turned out lovely.
We had a dessert bar with yummy, fancy desserts.
We dressed Marie up in lots of pearls, diamonds and white gloves!
We all wore gray and yellow in honor of her wedding colors!
I made a timeline of their courtship and used it for the game.  Everyone was given a picture and description, and they had to match it up to the correct date.  It was pretty funny to see how wrong it turned out, and was a funny game!

We had a fun weekend with Marie. She rested up by the fire before the big wedding prep:
Jeff was kind enough to watch Brielle for me for the weekend.  He likes his daddy-daughter time. :) Thanks Jeff!

Jeff and I went to Wintergrass - a huge bluegrass festival held in the Hyatt hotel in Bellevue every year.  It was fun to walk around and hear people "jamming" in the hallways outside the conferences. Brielle liked it too.

I took the girls to my clogging group where I get to practice my clogging and get some exercise.  It was the first time I took both of them, and it turned out great. Brielle sat for a while, but then wanted to join in! I couldn't get her to sit down after that. I didn't get to dance as much because I was chasing her around, but it was cute. :)

Brielle is getting more helpful with Rosalyn.  She doesn't like it when she cries and gives her toys when she does. One day, I asked Brielle to give Rosalyn a toy to play with.  She gave her this:
That's not really what I had in mind, but she liked it!

BIG NEWS.... my brother, Mike, got his mission call! We got to skype with him and he told us.  He submitted his papers and got his call within one week. Amazing! He was called to the Scotland/Ireland Mission and goes to the London Missionary Training Center on June 19th.  I'm so excited for him! He will be there for 2 years!! We will really miss him, but I'm so excited for him to have this wonderful adventure.

Other church news.... Brielle went to nursery for the first time! Yay!! Our Sundays are much less chaotic now. :)
She loved it. Of course she would! She can play and be as loud as she wants in church now! :)
