I'll take your picture!

This handsome hubby of mine bought me a fancy camera! This is the first picture I took with it:

We've been wanting a nice camera for a long time ....better than a digital camera....one of those heavy, professional-looking cameras so I feel cool.... with an interchangeable lens....with lots of settings, a fast shutter speed and great colors. A lot of people have told us to get a nice camera when you have children...it is worth it to capture the memories. 

This is the BEST time of my life to get a fancy camera. 

This is the WORST time of my life to get a fancy camera.

It's the best because it is so awesome! I can get such great pictures of anything I want! I can capture the fleeting movements of a baby with a nice, high shutter speed.

It's the worst because I don't have time to learn how to use it! It has a lot of nice settings and things you can do manually that I would love to play around with.  But I just don't have the time right now.  But I will work on it a little bit at a time and you, my blog reader, will get to see more pictures than you ever imagined. ha ha.

Here are just a few I took one afternoon as I played around with it.  Brielle likes to stare at the lens while it focuses, so I got a lot of blank stares.  Ha ha. It's going to be so fun to have, I can't wait to play around with it some more!
