What we've been up to....

I haven't been taking as many pictures as I should...so here's the only ones I have to highlight a few things we've been up to lately.

Here's Jeff on his first day of work at the branch in Seattle. Notice the mess of boxes behind him? We moved into our apartment Saturday, Marie was visiting so we spent Sunday with my family, and he started work Monday. It was wild! Lucky him, he got to miss unpacking since he was at work. I'm mostly unpacked now....besides the extra stuff in boxes I don't know where to hide.

We went downtown for the annual St. Patrick's parade which was really fun! I don't have any good pictures of it...so this one will have to do. My mouth is full of fruit snacks. Being pregnant with morning sickness...I eat a lot of fruit snacks which seem to help. :)

We spent General Conference weekend & Easter weekend with my parents. How fun to only be an hour away! We spent a couple hours in their yard cleaning up the fallen trees from the huge snow storm they had. It is going to take years to clean up...but every little bit helps. Here's my hunk with a chain saw. After wards he said he's glad he didn't choose to be a lumberjack as a profession. Even with a chain saw, it's hard work.

Now that we're Washingtonians, we visited the capital in Olympia. We took the tour and had a great time. It was quite extravagant inside!

I hugged George and rubbed his nose for good luck!

We were happily accompanied by Claire & Mom. Notice Claire is wearing pj's. She had a YW activity in pj's....so we got a kick out of touring the capital with a girl in bright pj's. :)

Claire spent part of her spring break with Jeff and I at our apartment. We had fun!
We went and saw the temple....we only live 10 minutes away. Our church building is right next door.

We also ventured into downtown Seattle by bus. We had so much fun! It was cold in the morning, so we spent some time riding elevators, escalators and exploring office buildings downtown. :) Here we are in an elevator with a mirrored ceiling! I can't believe this is the only picture I got of our Seattle adventure.

We had a really nice Easter weekend with family. We drove down to Portland and spent some time Saturday with my Grandpa, which was a blast. The only picture I have to document Easter is this picture of some of the dyed eggs. It was fun to dye eggs as a family now that we're all older. We colored tons of eggs, and it was very entertaining. :) Notice my Nacho Libre egg....we watched that movie and cracked up all weekend about it.

"My life is goooood!"
