The young women in my ward are going to girls camp in June. As a presidency, we decided to help them have a garage sale to raise money for their camp fees.
My home was picked to host because we've got a great "garage sale" location, close to a main street, and a clear garage. :)
We collected items from ward members for the past month and filled our home with all sorts of donations to sell!
Here are a few of the girls that participated in the garage sale on Saturday!
Friday night we spent 6 hours pricing and organizing the items. Saturday morning bright and early we were swarmed by garage sale shoppers!

It was an exhausting experience for me...but fulfilling when when we calculated the final result....we earned $1,100! I didn't know you could make that much money from a garage sale. All the girls that helped will get to go to camp for free. :) We did it!* special thanks to Jeff for having to lift all the heavy items, and go without a garage for a few weeks. Ha! *
