So I know it's been awhile since you've had a "just read" post about the latest book I've read. Well, this one was 840'ish or so pages long so I FINALLY just finished it. WOW! I loved it. There have been many books written of course on Warren Buffett but this is the only biography book that he actually personally endorses and allowed Alice Schroeder full access to him, his friends, his family, and business partners. It came out in 2009 and Laura actually read it first before I had time to read it, funny huh? It tells of his life, his businesses, his investing, etc etc. You learn a lot about him as a person, strengthes and weaknesses, the successful business life he has had as head of Berkshire Hatheway and the ride from the beginning, and you get all the wisdom that he is so known for now later in his life and looking back. It's full of all those "Buffettisms" that are so good to quote from. ... I recommend this book highly and it has been a great read. I know this is a small "recap" of a 840 page book ... but you won't get much out of it without reading it yourself! ;-) - Jeff
Here is the quote from the back of the book "Life is like a snowball. The important thing is finding wet snow and a really long hill." - Warren Buffett
