December

I enjoyed seeing my little girlies in their red Christmas dresses this month!

Can't take pictures on a bed without jumping!

I got a bad cold after Thanksgiving and it seemed to take me forever to get back to normal. The kids had to fend for themselves. Brielle would bring me food in bed, and Rosalyn even made me toast one time.  How thoughtful.  Ha.

There were a few days of snow on the ground that we got to enjoy!

They wouldn't wear gloves, so they didn't last long playing in it.  Ha.  We had fun looking at all the animal tracks in our yard!

I had to get a few things for a Christmas party one morning...we ran to Walmart quick.  I will never get over seeing these three in a shopping cart together.

We went to a friend's house for a North Pole party! That was lots of fun.

I helped with the ward Christmas party and made the centerpieces...

It was a fun party! I love ward parties.

Brielle asked for "candy" and Rosalyn asked for "treats." Nice!

And the cold virus went through us all...Rosalyn got it and looked awful.  I hate it when kids are sick.

It was a special Christmas because we were awaiting the arrival of two new boy babies in our family.  My sister Marie had her baby -  Luke on the 14th and Jeff's sister JoAnna had her baby - Hayes on the 23rd.  I enjoyed looking at my nativities and thinking about the Christ child.  A special boy that was coming to earth and the similar feelings of anticipation of his birth.

I had fun at the ornament exchange party with my friends! A yearly tradition.

Jeff and I went to an Ugly Sweater party with our friends.  We wore pants that were connected and so it was hilarious being at the party and having to stand together the whole time! Halfway through the party we got a call that Rosalyn had thrown up...so that was the end of our fun that night!

We decorated lots of cookies. This was a favorite activity this month.  And making graham cracker houses.

We went to Snowflake Lane! Lots of people, lots of dancing, lots of fake snow.

We went to Chuck E Cheese with daddy when he was off work.  That's always exciting!
Oh my little Brielle is growing up! Already driving and kissing boys! ha

And Rosalyn has a thing for the mouse!

Not all of our Christmas activities were cold...we enjoyed family swimming at the YMCA pool!

And many more things that I didn't take pictures of...Jeff had a work Christmas party, I sang in a trio for our ward Christmas program, we watched the church Christmas devotional, we went with friends to the Nativity festival, we went to Singing in the Rain with extended family, Jeff watched the BYU Bowl game with his buddies, and all the rest of the little things we do daily.
