We did lots of things we love this month in celebration of February, the love month!
I enjoyed a fun birthday! We went out to eat at a deli that served German food among other things. It was delicious.
We were lucky enough to sit in by the pianist who played all sorts of entertaining music during our meal. Brielle loved it and you can see her below just watching him in the corner. She danced all over.
Sunday, I went home and enjoyed a home-cooked meal and party with my family. They surprised me with Cheesecake Factory cheesecake. Yummy! It was a fun party.
The girls love looking out our windows. You can tell something interesting was going on outside. :)
We were playing with friends who brought this cool bike. I love it and she does too!
Brielle climbed up one morning and helped herself to a croissant for breakfast. That's my kind of girl. :) I love croissants.
I needed to feel my toes in the sand again, so we headed over to the Indoor Sandbox in Seattle. It's a volleyball court by night, sandbox by day. Perfect wintertime activity.
Rosalyn took 10 minutes to warm up to it. And then it was fun.
She loved sitting in the dump truck.
Both Rosalyn and Brielle are super into climbing anything and everything these days. I will find them perched in places enjoying the view from above. Here, I came around and Rosalyn was brushing her teeth in the sink.
One Sunday afternoon we headed for a family walk around the temple. I love to see the temple when I'm driving around town. And I love living so close!
We spent Presidents Day holiday in nature. We explored Discovery Park, north of Seattle. It was awesome with lots to see and do.
Brielle and Rosalyn love walking on the trails!
Beautiful views
Fun day spent together as a family outdoors. We have had such a sunny, mild winter. I love it!
I love that Brielle loves letters. She will see letters in random objects. And use random objects to make letters. It is cute.
I went back to Olympia later in the month to see Claire in her high school Musical: "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." I've always wanted to see that show, and I did! Claire was so beautiful on stage and had so much energy.
I love seeing my siblings perform.
I love seeing my girls hold hands. We had lots of outside play time this month since it has been so sunny.
I love babies in pig tails! Rosalyn graduated to this hair-do this month.
We went to Skymania Trampolines. This time we invited some friends and had a great time. Here's a movie of Brielle & Rosalyn jumping together.
They love the foam pit.
After jumping, they like to hang out in the arcade area.
Jeff and I got to go on a date for Valentine's Day! I got the babysitter and put Jeff in charge of the activity. We went out to dinner at Olive Garden. Anyone who knows Jeff would know that's where he would pick! We stuffed ourselves. :)
We had a special stake conference 2 weeks after our regular stake conference because Elder L. Tom Perry was in town! We got there almost an hour early and chased the girls all over while trying to save our seats. It was wild, but a neat experience to see him in person. He was funny and told lots of personal anecdotes. It was so different than the usual conference talks. I loved it, but I will love it more when I have children that will sit still and be quiet. :)
Jeff had an awards meeting for his office. He got his Achiever Award - he met his goal from all last year and got a cool plaque to put on his desk. I love that he loves his job and is so good at it. He works so hard!
It was a fun month full of lots of things to love.
