Goodbye old, hello new!

Well folks. The time has come to say goodbye to small living. We are going big AND going home. :) We have found a home to rent and are moving this Saturday! Yay!

We have enjoyed living in this little 880 sq foot condo for 2 years.  I have felt squished at times, but overall I've really had a fine time living here. Small living has had its perks. I can clean it all in a short amount of time. And I can vacuum the whole thing using just one plug. I can do laundry by walking only a few steps from room to hallway. :) We have also enjoyed a break from regular yard maintenance.

We were lucky to live on the ground level and have an attached garage. It has been so helpful with the girls. We have had nice, quiet neighbors who don't complain when my kids jump and run down the hallway.

It has been great to back up to the forest and enjoy the sights and sounds of birds. And the freeway next to us was masked by the canopy of vegetation. Rosalyn graduated from sleeping in the bathroom at night, to sleeping in the same room with Brielle. It was a tight space with two, but worked fine. I move her pack n play every day from my room for nap time to her room for bed time.
Our one-man kitchen was nice when Jeff would do the dishes...I couldn't fit in there to help. ha! I am looking forward to having more counter space. But we had nice, new appliances here that worked great.
We had such a nice landlord and overall a great experience in our 2 bedroom condo.

And now the time has come to get our girls a little more space to run, and a yard! We searched high and low for the best place to rent that wouldn't be too expensive while simultaneously not be to far from Jeff's work. That was a hard thing to find in this area. We went through lots of places these past few years and probably have looked at hundreds of listings online.

We came across this one and a few others in the area.  Right when we met the landlord and went through the home, we felt good about it, while still looking at a few other options.
A few days later we went through the approval process and luckily got picked to live there! It is down the street from where we lived when we first moved to the area. It is in the city of Newcastle. It has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, 1890 sq feet.  It has a large, fenced yard that I'm excited about! The house is 4 miles away from where we live now.
On to our new adventure in this big blue house!
