We spent an afternoon at Schilter's Family Farm in Lacey. It was the best pumpkin patch I've ever been to! There was so much for children to do, and tons of unique pumpkins. I told Jeff that we are going to have to make this a family tradition for as long as we live here!
Brielle couldn't keep her hands off every pumpkin she saw - as you'll notice in the following pictures! Rosalyn was dressed up as a bunny, and Brielle wanted to wear her witches hat. We had a great time!
They had a little petting zoo with tons of animals to see! The favorite was the goats.
Brielle wanted to give every animal hugs. She especially liked squeezing the goats till I thought their eyes would pop out! But they would continue to stick their heads out of the cage and liked the attention. And then we went in the cage and she was in love!
My Mom was a big help as we chased two toddlers around.
Brielle enjoyed playing in the hay barrel maze just her size:
We took a hay ride to the corn maze. Along the way we saw the Christmas tree farm!
We made it through the corn maze with two toddlers who didn't want to stay on the paths...it was an adventure! :) The theme was The Wizard Of Oz. They had the characters strategically placed throughout the maze. One character was our favorite...the tin man! Probably because it was Claire! She volunteered with her theater friends to be the characters. Brielle had fun playing with her tin can and giving her some oil so she could move her joints.
The farm was beautiful and picturesque on a fall day.
They had the most interesting, unique pumpkins!
By the end, Rosalyn was pretty dirty crawling around in the pumpkins!
I spy a Brielle pumpkin!
I couldn't keep Brielle out of the pumpkins...wherever they were, she wanted to be!
It was such a fun afternoon.
