February Celebrations!

I do a lot of celebrating in February. I celebrate my birthday and Valentine's Day pretty much all month long.  :) I love decorating for birthdays and Valentine's Day...I'm so glad it happens in the same month of February!!

Here's how I celebrated all month:

I kicked off my birthday weekend with a night out with some girl friends. It was a fun dinner out, and Jeff watched the girls for me so I could go.
The next day we drove down to Olympia to spend my birthday with my family.  We watched the Olympics, ate yummy food and played games.
Jeff, Claire and I went to see Frozen -  the sing along version.  It was fun...even if I might have been the one singing the loudest in the theater and embarrassing Claire. It was my birthday, I can do what I want!

When we came out of the theater it was snowing like a blizzard! It was so surreal to see that movie and come out to unexpected snow! We were going to go out to German food (a birthday tradition) but the roads were bad so we went home instead. Jeff, you still owe me my Weiner Schnitzel and kraut!
I took Brielle out in the snow....she didn't like it one bit and instead of begging me to go outside, she begged me to go inside.
The next day Clare and I built a snowman we named Olaf in honor of my "Frozen" themed birthday party. ha ha.
Sunday dinner we had my favorite tortellini and cheesecake...I think I've had this birthday dinner for 10+ years now.  I don't intend on changing it! Yum!

I have this same picture of me with Brielle on my birthday last year wearing this same dress...crazy! Although my hair wasn't wet from a snow storm.  I pretty much look the same.
 Another year older and wiser.

And then it was time to celebrate Valentine's Day! I took an impromptu photo shoot of the girls:

I surprised Jeff at work that day and gave him a treat.  Later that night we went to a posh cupcake shop to celebrate with the girls...it was the most delicious ice cream I've ever had.  And that's pretty much sacreligious of me to say because I'm pretty loyal to the BYU creamery ice cream.

Brielle didn't want to look at my camera.  But she did want to eat my treat!
I had a "cupcake sundae." A cupcake and ice cream - genius! :)

Here's my little cupid...with roses from Jeff in the background!
Shortly after this picture she pulled the vase down and water spilled everywhere.  No picture of that.

To end the month, I went back down to Olympia to see Claire in her high school musical "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying." She did great as a secretary and looked so beautiful on stage.  She's up top left in the purple dress:
She got to have a 60's hair bump in her hair and looked cute.

What a great month! So much to celebrate!!
