This little cutie pie went on her first airplane ride! My Mom and I went out to Utah to help Marie for a wedding planning weekend! Jeff stayed home with Brielle, and I took Rosalyn on an adventure. It was so much fun and so exhausting at the same time! We ran from place to place, hardly stopping for food in order to accomplish as much as possible in the limited amount of time together. It was wild, but productive!
One of our first stops was to Heritage Gardens. This is where Marie will be having her reception. It was absolutely gorgeous! Perfect choice!
While we were there we sat down with their wedding planner to hammer out all the details. This picture conveys it all...decisions, decisions!
We hung out in the bride's room...getting Marie used to her accommodations!
We all wore gray that day...in honor of Marie's wedding colors - light gray and light yellow!
Rosalyn was a perfect baby. She was just along for the ride, having fun with us! She was taken in and out of the car and into different places all day long, every day. I counted one day I took her in and out of the car 12 times! She got tired of her car seat by the last day, we were lucky she has such a happy temperament and did so well.
Meanwhile, Jeff was home with Brielle! He had some great daddy-daughter time. He would occasionally text me pictures of Brielle to show me what they were up to. Here they are at the Children's Museum:
He sent me this one to prove he was feeding her. Ha ha! I'm not sure she wore pants all weekend. :) Jeff did great and kept Brielle happy and entertained. It was such a fun reunion when I came home.
Back in Utah....we went to Hobby Lobby (I love this store, why can't they build one in WA?!?!?) and Michael's to find the exact color of yellow ribbon we needed for decorations. Why is it so hard to find??
We also ran through the mall trying to find bridesmaids dresses, shoes and jewelry, etc. We were pooped by the end of the day!
We went to Bare Minerals to get Marie some makeup for her wedding day....which ultimately led to getting a makeover.
It was so fun getting all dolled up, of course we had to pose like models for the camera:
And of course, we had to go wedding dress shopping!! WOW, it was hard to choose, Marie looked fantastic in every single one she tried on!! But don't worry, she kept coming back to the same one over and over again (isn't that a sign!) and just fell in love with one dress. Once she decided this was the one, she wouldn't take it off in the store. Um, I'm not joking about that. Rumor has it, she now sits around in it in her apartment. ha! I'm so happy she found one that she adores and looks fabulous in!
Can't wait for the big day!
