The Tolsma clan met up in Ogden, Utah for a 4th of July celebration and vacation with Jeff's mom (Mama T as we call her!) We piled in to Grandpa Whitehead's home and enjoyed a week together!
The highlight of the trip for me was getting these three new cousins together. They are all only a few months apart, so it was so fun to meet them and watch them interact. Here we are in our 4th of July outfits:
There was a 4th of July parade in the morning, followed by a family picnic and baseball game in the afternoon. That evening we lit our own fireworks at the house.
Baby B and I stayed cool under the pavilion.
We did lots of fun things during this trip, but also had a lot of downtime playing with babies and talking. With three new babies, there was always one napping so we took it slow with our planning. I didn't take pictures of everything, but here are a few things I did document!
We went to a trampoline park. This was fun for everyone - and exhausting, as you can tell in the picture below. The adults were sore for a few days afterwards. :)
In case you were wondering, I did not jump with my preggo belly. I watched the cutie pie babies. Here's Brielle and Annabelle. I think Brielle stole Annabelle's shoe. She was nicknamed the "Toysnatcher" by cousin Tyler...she's realized she can move and grab what she wants and the other babies can't do anything about it. Cute for now...but not when she's two. :)
Here's the group taking a break from jumping:
We ate some yummy food together. We had hamburgers at home, a pizza party on the patio, lots of oreos and creamies, and Ben's famous guacamole recipe. We went to Cafe Rio (below) as well as Ligori's Pizzeria.
We enjoyed free tickets to the Ogden Minor League Baseball game courtesy of famous Robert Fountain who happens to belong to our family and works for the MLB. This was a fun outing!
We spent an afternoon at the Ogden water park which was a great way to cool off in the heat.
Awww, siblings and babies:
We spent lots of quality family time catching up on each other's lives. It's hard when we live so far away! We played a rousing game of Reverse Charades and watched home movies.
Here's uncle Jason with his new nieces:
We played 4-square and it was a hit with the boys. Let's hope they take the game back with them to their elementary schools...the game 4-square can't die out! The boys had fun with their water guns outside (and inside!) and the babies enjoyed a cute kiddie pool in the backyard thanks to Jenny.
We celebrated Keaton's birthday (and Jenny & Jason's!) and wished him luck as he turns 10!
For his birthday we went to the Nickelcade and Miniature golfing. Here are the two brothers battling it out old-school at the arcade:
Can't get enough pictures of these three together! Annabelle, Tucker & Brielle:
Here's all the cousins!
More proof of Brielle's toy-snatching ability:
We had a wonderful time with Mama T! Thanks for hosting and letting us crash your place!
