We bought a car.
Not just any old car. A 2012 Nissan Rogue.
It's brand new. 260 miles on it. What?!?
It smells really nice, drives really nice, and is so very clean. I love it so much.
It has changed my life as a new mother. No more cramming my baby into the back of our two-door car. I can actually take the car seat in and out and comfortably fit a stroller in the trunk. And I feel cool driving around town like a hip mamma.
Jeff spoiled me. Not only did he buy me a car, but he bought me an Iphone 4S. Some of you know I've had the same phone for almost 7 years now. It was awesome 7 years ago...but now it is quite out-dated. I've been putting up with it for a long time, using the phrase "use it up, wear it out, make do, or do without." For almost a year I've been turning it off every night to charge the battery in another old phone because the cord is broken, and other such odd quirks. Well, it's time I upgraded to the modern world.
Now that I have an Iphone, I've been taking pictures and movies of this little girl like crazy:
My poor parents have been getting such pictures on a regular basis. Who else can I send them to that won't get annoyed? :)
So it was an early Christmas at the Tolsma household. I have a new car, a new phone and a new baby. Merry Christmas to me!
