We've done some fun things so far this month of September...and here are a few pictures to prove it!
I told Jeff when I made it to 9 months pregnant I deserved a slice of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory....you'd better believe I made sure I got one! :) mmmmmmm
We've decided on a baby name: Testarossa, or "Tess" for short. :) We went to Newcastle Days on Saturday and enjoyed a few classic cars (I love classic car shows!) Jeff was giddy about seeing a 1991 Ferrari Testarossa. He's still talking about it. Ha! Here he is with his dream car:
Oh, in case you were wondering...the baby name was a joke. :) Still no idea what we'll be naming this little lady! I'll be taking a baby name book to the hospital.
We went to the Boeing Museum of Flight which was great! It is free the first Thursday of every month. We'll have to go again and again to get through the whole thing, it's huge and awesome! My favorite part was walking through Air Force One - the airplane used by several presidents until Reagan.
We also saw and walked through a Concorde - a passenger jet that flies at the speed of sound! We learned about the B-17 Bomber and saw it up close. The museum is right next to a runway, so there were planes taking off and landing all night, which was just exciting!
We rode a Duck through Seattle! It goes on land and in the water. We've been wanting to do this since we moved here, and thought it was great! We got a great, fun tour of Seattle. We highly recommend this to anyone!
When we went into the water, we got to float by the boathouse that the movie "Sleepless in Seattle" was shot at. That was so fun! I didn't know it existed! You can see our great view of Seattle from the water in the movie below...and listen to the soundtrack from the movie that they played while we floated by. :)
Other events this month:
- We had a fun labor day weekend, playing tennis with the Bates family, eating brats & burgers and playing a scavenger hunt at Wal Mart. :)
- Jeff got to go see another Mariner's Game in a box seat with Fidelity. He likes the posh life!
- Football season has kicked off, and we've seen a lot of it so far! There have been some exciting games. Of course, we're watching every BYU game we can!
- We celebrated Kate's birthday yesterday (my brother Jeff's wife) and we are so excited they are moving to Lacey! (about 20 mins from Olympia) They are buying a Mission Tortilla Distributing business and started today. We are excited for them...as well as the possibility of getting some free tortillas every now and then??? :)
- Now we're just anxiously awaiting the arrival of a baby girl.....due the 22nd! Will she be early, or late? I'm ready to pop!
