May Day Riots

Jeff had quite the May Day yesterday. Apparently the first day of May is an international riot day where people protest unemployment. These riots were held all over the world in major cities. Jeff got caught right in the middle of the one in Seattle. Luckily he was inside his office, but watched the violence outside. Here is a picture of him from the newspaper....he's the one in the window wearing the suit. Large crowds were rioting on the street, writing graffiti, breaking windows of business establishments and vandalizing cars parked along the road. I just get livid when I hear about this stuff...why are people so dumb as to vandalize innocent people's cars and create such a mess? All for no reason...they can easily protest without having to get violent. It makes me so mad. 

It was pretty intense downtown as you can see in this video HERE. Jeff's office is right where this video is being filmed, and where people were breaking windows. Luckily the police came right before they could smash the windows at Fidelity Investments, but they did get dumb graffiti on the front. Sigh.
