My nickname growing up was "The Queen" for more ways than one. :) I have always had this fascination with royalty and loved reading books and news articles particularly about the royal family in England.*
(*Although I must admit that Princess Grace Kelly from Monaco is someone I admired, and after whom my wedding dress was styled)
As a child I loved hearing about Princess Diana and was so sad when she died. I can still remember where I was when I heard the news. A few years ago I enjoyed my study abroad in Europe and seeing the fashion of Princess Di and the palaces...secretly hoping to catch a glimpse of anyone in the royal family. There is just something fun about watching these royalty....the pomp and circumstance of it all. The big hats, the fashion, & the elegance that they must abide by.
Needless to say, I am excited for the royal wedding coming up:

Isn't this such a cute engagement picture? I wish I could have copied it for my own photos. :) I love that she is wearing Princess Diana's ring, I love that Kate seems like a down-to-earth princess and a good role-model from what I've read about her.
