Easter and General Conference

What a wonderful Easter weekend and what a wonderful General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Laura and I made General Conference our weekend and watched via live internet stream all the sessions of conference and some at the Church via satellite. I look forward to Conference weekend now more and more as I get older. I always loved Conference when I was younger but I remember it wasn't until I was a missionary that it rocketed my appreciation to greater heights. I think it was because I focused all my effort and attention on what the servants of the Lord taught. Since that time it has only increased with each semi annual conference. I am truly grateful for the messages shared and if you didn't watch any of conference or you don't know what conference is just go to www.lds.org and find out. Although all talks were amazing Pres. Uchtdorf and Pres. Erying at Priesthood sat. night I think were landmark talks. Pres. Monson Sunday morning was a powerful witness of the Savior. I am a better man, husband, and person for listening and being taught this weekend.

Happy Easter to all ... Laura and I went over to our Bishops house as they invited us with some others to eat great food and watch conference.



Of course the bottom line of all of the Easter celebration is the life and Atonement of Jesus Christ. I'm in awe of just how much that really means and with all I know now, I know there are many more "layers to that onion" that I still have to learn. It's been a great weekend!
