We went to the state fair for Jeff's birthday! It was so fun! It was HUGE. We could have spent a couple days there...now I know why they sell "season passes" to the state fair. We only bought a one-day pass. There was so much to see and do!
The guy behind Jeff is the state fair mascot. He is there every year.
I liked all the shows...especially this one! I love flamenco dancing..it made me want to do it again.
Jeff liked the auto show. Nice cars. If jeff could, he'd buy this truck. :)
You can't really tell how big this bull is....but he was HUGE! His name is Peter the Great. :)
The famous fair food was there...foot long corndogs, funnel cakes, ice cream. I was cracking up at all the fried food possibilities for sale. Fried s'mores, fried peaches, fried twinkies, fried yams.... and the #1 food for sale was: Fried Butter. You don't even want to know. Maybe we'll be brave enough to try that next year....
