November

In November I took a little trip to Portland to hang out with my cousins. I had so much fun seeing them and catching up...and seeing two of them pregnant! Brielle and Rosalyn had a great time playing with new toys and second cousins. 

 Sally kept the kids entertained: 

We had lots of yummy food and lots of great stories. I got to spend time with my Grandpa, and that's always great! The girls did pretty good in the car ride, which made the trip that much better. :) 

The weather started turning colder here.  That didn't stop us for the first half of the month.  We bundled up and still went on adventures. Including finding and smelling pine needles.

And then things started getting too brisk to be outside for long.  So we have been discovering ways to play inside! I found the best-kept secret around town. Our community centers have play days every day around town and they pull out all these fun toys for the kids to play with.  Often we are alone, or with just a few other children. The girls have really been enjoying this. 

This is when I know they are done playing..when Brielle starts to climb the door. :) 

And this is how we felt the rest of the month. Hanging out in pj's, cozy and comfortable at home.
