October - the month in which we wear costumes every day...and it's ok!

We wore a lot of costumes throughout the month.  Whether they fit or not!

The girls did a lot of playing with the "decorative gourds" and Rosalyn enjoyed how they tasted. :)

This witches hat was worn for an extended period of time by every member of our family. :)

Can you spot Brielle posing in front of the decorations?

We played with Halloween cookie cutters and playdough.

We went to our ward Halloween party.  Brielle was Bo Peep, Rosalyn a sheep and Jeff and I were supposed to be Humpty Dumpty.  Before I put on the egg crack, we thought it might be fun to wear the bow ties instead...so we looked more like Tweedle Dum and Dee.
Our ward goes all-out decorating for the Halloween party each year! It was really fun and festive.

The girls liked the black lights on the stage:
Here's our Bishop and his wife. I loved their costumes!

We wore the three-legged pants my Mom made.  We lasted walking like that for the first part of the party.  Long enough for a great laugh!
Then we were chasing the girls around!

Brielle liked watching the costume parade on the catwalk:

We couldn't get her off the stage after she got up!

And then it was Halloween! Brielle's got her hair ready for curly Bo Peep:

Then we went to Music Time in costume.  I think the girls turned out pretty cute in their costumes.  I loved that it cost me $3.99 all total.  I was able to create and scrounge up with whatever we had around our place to make their costumes.

Here's Rosalyn's cute backside...and my festive socks photobombing!

We went to the mall that night.  It's the place to be with little kids. It was packed and full of lots of kids in costumes! We met up with Jeff's cousin Tyson and his family, which was fun.

Brielle wanted to go shopping instead of trick or treating:

Orion had his Buzz Lightyear voice down.  Brielle was copying it and that made me laugh.
Quick break for snack time:

We took the girls to Jeff's office and this is the best picture I could get of the two of them together.

And here's the movie of them running around in costume!
