Adventures...

We've been having all sorts of adventures over here.....here are some pictures to document our most recent adventures!

Jeff had training in Chicago for a week.  Lucky duck, he got to be in the city I love! He took 2 different boat adventures - an architecture tour around the city and another tour around the lake.  Here's his pics from both:

We had an adventure getting a rocking chair! After months of searching, we finally found the perfect chair.  It is a rocking recliner, super comfortable, not too huge and cleans easily.  Yea, now I can have a comfortable place to sit with my babies.

Brielle has been giving us one adventure after another. She's on the move! She can't walk yet, but crawls super fast everywhere and pulls herself up on anything she can.  Just the other day she pulled herself up on my standing jewelry box - which came crashing down on her - very heavy.  After a trip to the doctor, she's fine with a few bruises and a cut on her nose that luckily didn't need stitches.

Here she is at a park! We regularly get out so she can crawl around in the grass without getting into mischief!

She likes the Ensign magazine as much as I do:
We finally installed cabinet locks after this was a regular occurrence:
Next item we need to install? A toilet lock.  She's figured out how to open the seat and flush.  So much for conserving water over here. :)

We went on an adventure to Bainbridge Island for a folk music festival.  We took the ferry over. It was a beautiful, sunny day!

When we got to the festival, we quickly realized there weren't any seats in the shade.
We didn't last long before leaving for some food and coming back when the sun wasn't so hot.
Brielle loved it, she loves music!

Ok, this isn't really an adventure, but something to document...I went to Olympia for the day to see Claire perform as a Leopard in her summer drama camp.  She was one of the leads! It's so fun to live close enough to support family in their talents.

We went on an adventure to Tillicum Village! It was a half-day cruise that included the trip over to the village, a fire-roasted Salmon buffet, a show and then we got to explore around the island before heading back.  It was so much fun!

Here's Jeff & B on the ship:
 Our greeting:

We ate our buffet in a traditional lodge-style hut:

As you can tell, we are trying to get in lots of adventures before baby #2 arrives.  Of course, that's when the REAL adventure starts! :)
