Halloween

I love October and Halloween! I love carving pumpkins, drinking apple cider, pumpkin bread, decorating, etc. It is the start of the festive holiday season, and I love it! I especially love dressing up...if I don't wear a costume on Halloween, it is wasted in my mind. :) I love costumes and envision a future with a house full of fun costumes to dress up in!

Having a new baby and still being extra worn out, our October was pretty low-key, but still enjoyable. I dressed up my little red-haired pumpkin:

We went to a pumpkin patch on a cold, blustery Saturday.  We picked out two great pumpkins to carve....but we never got around to carving them.  Maybe we'll have to start a new tradition and carve them for Thanksgiving? :)

Since I've been out of commission...I didn't hear about our ward Halloween party.  The day of, I had to throw a costume together with whatever we had in our closet.  I decided to dress Jeff up as Justin Bieber, and I'd be his fan. ha ha.

Jeff was a good sport. :) The young women in the ward instantly spotted him. ha ha. I just wish he had a head microphone to complete the outfit, but it worked.
Our baby was all snuggled up like this on daddy's chest the entire evening. This was her debut to all of our ward friends. :)

A few days later, Jeff's mom, Lori came to visit! We were so excited to have her come! Here she is after getting picked up at the airport. (Thanks Jenny, for the cute pumpkin outfit!)

I asked her to bring some Halloween costumes...she's got lots! I thought it'd be fun to dress up! We went to the mall in Bellevue...it was packed with families all dressed up, going from store to store to get candy. It was really fun!
Again, Jeff was a good sport, wearing the bat costume. He deserves an award for the women in his life embarrassing him. :)
We thought we'd see how Brielle looked in a wig. she didn't like it so much.
We had a really fun Halloween! Hope you did too!
