We had a fabulous time in Washington celebrating the marriage of Jeff & Kate!

I flew into Seattle on Saturday and helped out with pre-reception details. It was great fun to step into the family life and not be there around a holiday. I had fun seeing the normal events of each day and got to take Mike & Claire to school, etc. Jeff flew in on Thursday and we stayed for the weekend to enjoy the wedding festivities. It turned out beautiful and we are all so happy that my brother Jeff & Kate found each other!
Here's my immediate family outside the Seattle temple: (missing Marie who is on a mission!)

I love this picture of the happy couple....who knew my dad was such a nice wedding photographer? :)

Jeff & I

Here's just a quick snapshot of a few of my aunts, uncles and cousins that came in for the wedding. It was so fun to catch up and see everyone!

My Grandma & Grandpa Bates & Grandpa Ricks came as well. I loved spending time with them!

My parents looked dashing as usual....

and Michael & Claire look pretty good too!

When we weren't preparing for the guests and reception, I was enjoying the great outdoors. My parents live in the garden of Eden. :) We enjoyed beautiful blue skies all week and it was absolutely breathtaking.

I had a lot of fun running errands with my mom and just sitting and talking!

I got to go to Michael's Band concert on Tuesday night and his choir concert on Thursday night! How talented he is!

I also went to Claire's orchestra concert on Wednesday night. She played a duet on her violin to "La Bamba." I never knew you could play that song on the violin, and it sounded great! :)

Claire is taking a tap dance class, so of course I went and watched that too!

We did lots of eating, talking & laughing. It was a fun trip and I got to see so many family members. I love family weddings that bring us all together!
