Christmas at the Bates = Good food!
We had a great Christmas...and ate a lot of yummy food prepared by my mamma. One morning I counted and she was preparing 9 different treats all at the same time. She had the oven, microwave, stovetop all going as she whipped up yummy treats.
We got some great presents, Jeff spoiled me! Some things we got were: games: monopoly, settlers, & bananagrams, A fondue set, Books: Joseph smith papers, Sarah Palin's book, Elf on the Shelf, an olive wood nativity set, DVD's, ...lots of fun stuff!
We went in to Seattle for Marie's birthday! Lots of fun. Here we are below trying to pull off the Michael Jackson lean.. :)
We prepared some Christmas carols and played outside Cabela's for the Salvation Army. It was really fun! Jeff played the guitar, marie played the violin, Claire played the flute, Michael played his trumpet. The rest of us sang and rang jingle bells. :) Below are short videos I took.
